Who we are

YourWords is a small independent service run by one person in New South Wales, Australia. “We” and “us” on this page mean that person. By creating an account you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the service.

YourWords is not connected with, endorsed by or produced by any religious organisation, including Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania and the organisations that publish for Jehovah’s Witnesses. Every publication remains the copyright of its publisher.

What the service is

YourWords helps you prepare meeting parts and talks: your comments, your student parts, and the parts an elder or ministerial servant prepares. You can write everything yourself. With a subscription, an AI model can also draft and suggest changes in your own voice.

It is a helper, not a replacement. Use it alongside JW Library, Watchtower Online Library (wol.jw.org) or Watchtower Library, which are where you study the material and what your preparation should rest on. YourWords does not republish the publications. It shows the headings, printed questions and scripture references you need to find your place, with links to wol.jw.org, and Bible verses as published there.

It is for that purpose only. The assistant will decline requests that have nothing to do with preparing a part, and please do not try to use it for anything else.

Your account

• You must be 13 or older to create an account.
• If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s agreement before you pay for a subscription.
• An account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account.
• Please give your real name and an email address you can receive mail at.

Free, and the subscription

Writing your own comments and keeping your own work is free, for as long as you use it. A subscription adds AI drafting and the parts an elder or ministerial servant prepares. Its price is shown in Australian dollars on the Subscribe screen, before you are asked to pay anything. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card.

Your subscription renews automatically every month at the price shown until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Manage billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep what you have paid for until the end of the month already paid.

If a subscription ends, for any reason, your account becomes a free one. Nothing you wrote is deleted, and you can still read and edit it.

If the price ever changes, we will tell you before the new price applies to you, so you can cancel first if you would rather.

Refunds

Because you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the month you paid for, we do not refund part-months. If something has gone wrong — a charge you did not expect, or the service not working for you — tell us at [email protected] or through the Feedback item in the app’s menu, or Settings → Send feedback and we will put it right. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.

Fair use

AI drafting costs real money each time it runs, so a subscription includes a generous monthly allowance, and a limit on how many requests can be made in a minute or an hour. The allowance resets each month on the day your subscription started. Writing and editing your own words is never limited.

What the AI writes

A draft is a starting point. Nothing it suggests changes your work until you accept it, and you are responsible for what you finally say from the platform. Read it, change it, and make it yours.

Scripture wording comes only from the official source, never from a model. A model can still be wrong about other things — a fact, an emphasis, the point of a paragraph — so check a draft against the material as you would anything else.

Your words are yours

You own what you write here, and you can take any prepared part away as a document whenever you like. You let us store it and process it only so the service can work for you — including sending it to the AI model when you ask for a draft or a change. We do not publish it, share it with other users, sell it, or use it to train any model. The Privacy Policy says exactly where it goes.

Availability

We work hard to keep YourWords running and your work safe, and keep encrypted backups every night. But it is a small service, and we cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot do without on the day.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Any subscription is cancelled first, and your account and everything in it is removed from YourWords straight away; the encrypted backups age out within 60 days. If you subscribed, a bare record that you agreed to the renewal is kept for three years, as the Privacy Policy explains.

We may suspend or close an account that is used to abuse the service, other people, or these terms. Unless it is urgent, we will tell you first and give you the chance to take your work with you.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. This does not affect any guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia.
